Red Roses - WIP

Set Up

First Color Layer - Day one

Each time I put together a set up, I take several photos. Then I print one out in gray scale and tape it along side my surface so I can judge the proportions and see value. This first day was spend laying in the color and trying to decide what I want to do with the background. A light background is a nice choice to set off the beautiful ruby red roses. My vase is a mottled turquoise blue with a yellow base. I just love the color scheme and am looking forward to finishing!
