8" x 10" Oil on Linen PanelMy twin nieces, Nora and Lucy and their brother Frankie were patiently sitting my the water's edge at their pool this past summer waiting for the adult swim to be over. What intrigued me about the shot was the color. Everything went together from the bathing suits to the pool color to the flags strung overhead. I can just hear Frankie telling his little sister Lucy to be patient until they are allowed back in the pool. I just had to paint it.
